Hey!
Hello to all those who have recently come across this blog. I am Nav, the author and individual beaming widely from his couples photoshoot in Sirmione, Italy (to the right). I am 38 years old (I know, hard to believe 😉) and was at the tender age of 20 when I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis.
My early career aspirations were all about forging a successful career in law. However, ever since the pandemic, I’m more focussed on pursuing paths that provide contentment, fulfilment, and a wholesome experience. While I continue to practice as a Legal Officer, I wish to devote more time to things that make me truly happy; travelling and photography.

What are my likes?
No guesses there – I’ve just given that on a platter above.
I remember watching Wake Up Sid at the cinemas (a Bollywood movie for my unfamiliar readers) feeling something dormant had been tapped wide open. I may not be the best behind the camera; but nothing makes me truly happy than trying to see the outside world from a 0.5″ x 0.5″ viewfinder.
While I have always wanted to travel, doing so with a chronic condition seemed, for want of a better word, difficult. The thought of managing a volatile UC or an ileostomy that needed emptying 12+ times a day, abroad, put to bed my early dreams of travelling whilst young.
It was not until my pouch had settled and I met an equally wanderlust partner in Sahiba, that we were able to embark on our travels together.
What are my dislikes?
I consider myself a patient individual; however, what annoys me most are people failing to honour the unspoken rules of driving decorum. A lack of thank yous and a sense of entitlement really rubs me the wrong way.
Considering I have spent 37 words (and counting) to express my displeasure shows how much this means to me 😂🙈
